More Grace! (We can't help it)

We love posting new pics of our beautiful girl! She is such a doll. Her personality is really starting to come out. She smiles all the time. We want to believe that she's truly smiling at us but it might just be gas! We don't care though, either way she's smiling!

Grace makes her debut!

Grace Domenica Delorey was born on July 5 at 7:43 am. She weighed 8 lbs even measuring 19 inches long.

Grace surprised us late Friday night/Saturday morning when Stef's water broke around 2:30 am. We calmly (yeah right) grabbed our things and headed to the hospital. Little Grace was breached so Stef had an emergency C-section at 7:30. Stef was really tough and handled everything really well. We are really proud of Stef. She's doing exceptionally well as a new mother. She has all the motherly instincts, and everything seems to come so naturally to her. Stef is making a steady recovery so far, and Grace is as healthy as can be and getting cuter by the minute.

We are so happy with Grace. She is one of those perfect babies who steals your heart the first time you look at her. We love her so much already.

We appreciate all the support that we've had from family and friends. We love showing off Little Grace to anyone who wants to see, so we'd love to have visitors. Enjoy the pictures!

Straight to the Top

Saturday my good buddy, Blaine, and I decided to hike to the top of one of the mountains behind our house. No trail. No map. We just set out with a goal in the mind. The hike/climb took us about two hours to get to the top, but the reward was worth the trip. We sat at the summit for about a half an hour and talked about how the ascent had been a metaphor for life while we took in the view. The way down only took about 20 minutes because were able to rockslide on the loose rocks.

I just had to share some of the baby gifts I've received recently. The first one is from my crafty sister in-law, Natalie. She made me this huge diaper cake. I love it! I don't even want to take it apart because it's just so cute. So it's just sitting on our counter, probably until the baby comes! The flowers on the top of it are actually clips that you put on your baby's head band. Which I am very into right now. Maybe even a little obsessed! I can't help it. I just hope Grace has hair! The second picture is a quilt that a family friend made for us. It's so soft and I just love that it has her name on it! And last but certainly not least is this diaper bag that my friend Karla made me. Yes, she made this! She is so handy with a needle and thread!
