Braids

So Grace let me do braids in her hair a couple weeks ago. It was a miracle, really it was. I usually have about 30 to 60 seconds to do her hair in the morning before she starts to freak out. I guess it's pay back for all the times I was a total brat to my mom when she use to do my hair. It's too tight, it's too loose, there's a bump in it. Yeah I don't know how she put up with me. Well, on this day I asked her if she wanted to look like a princess, like Snow White. For those of you who don't know, Grace is OBSESSED with princesses. We went Disneyworld when she was about 10 months old and bought her these plastic princess dolls that stand up, and they are hands down her favorite thing to play with, and she insists on bringing them almost everywhere we go. So she looked at me and said YES! So I started working away at the braids and she could care less about what I was doing, it was great! She just kicked and splashed away in the sink, which she usually does when I do here hair but on this day she didn't seem to mind how long it was taking and all the pulling and tugging. After I was done I said, "Wow Grace you look just like a princess". She had a huge smile on her face, and said, "Yeah Snow White." That seems to be her favorite even though she's only seen the movie once, go figure. Ever since that day I've been doing her hair every morning pretty easily. She even let me cut it last week, I'm on a roll! Every day after I'm done she always says, "wow like a princess, momma", what a doll, I could just eat her. We'll see how long it lasts though... I also squeezed in a few of Rocco at the end because he's just so stinkin' CUTE and getting so big!
