We just got back from Disney World. We all had a great time, especially Grace. She loved all the rides like Dumbo and "It's a Small World." She was a good sport (considering that it rained almost every day we were in Florida--I thought Florida was supposed to be hot, sunny, and tropical!). Oh well, we toughed it out through the rain and had a great time.
Enjoy the pics!

St. George
We were able to escape for the weekend and head up to St. George. Well, actually first we were in Cedar City until we realized there was NOTHING to do. All the trails were still closed off from the snow. And anything else fun to do was not up and running yet. I guess we went at a weird time... not winter anymore and not yet summer. So we decided to leave that place and head for St. George. We stopped at Zions National park along the way and were able to do a 5 mile hike there. It was amazing! So beautiful! And Grace did awesome, smiling and clapping the whole way. But who really wouldn't be happy being carried the whole 5 miles??? Then we headed back into town and enjoyed a little R and R at the pool at our hotel. All in all we had a blast. It was so nice to get away, even if it was only for the weekend! Next weekend we head for DisneyWorld, could it get any better?!I think not. Click on the picture to see more.

It's A Funny Story Now That I look Back On It
So my poor little Grace has been sick for the last couple of days. She has a viral infection. Which pretty much means she has a fever and a sore throat. This is the first time she's really been sick and it makes me so sad to see her not acting like her usual bubbly self. Although one good thing about her being sick is all she wants to do is be held and cuddle with me, can't complain about that.
Ok, on with the story... So it was time for Grace to have another dose of her Tylenol, and at this point I could tell she really wasn't feeling well. She wouldn't stop crying, and her eyes were all red, and her head was burning up. So I rushed upstairs to our bathroom. I had my cell phone in my hand because I had just gotten off the phone with Mark while I was walking up the stairs. When I got into the bathroom I put Grace on the counter (don't worry I always have one hand on her) and I opened the drawer to get the medicine out. I set my phone on the counter also, not thinking much about it. I opened the medicine bottle and was about to reach for the syringe for it when in slow motion I see Grace pick up my phone and throw it in the toilet! I shoved my hand in the toilet as fast as I could to try and save it from becoming completely damaged and then when I lift my head back up, I see Grace pouring out all of the medicine all over herself. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I just stood there for a second not sure what I should do first, wipe off my phone or wipe off Grace. I gave my phone a quick dry off and then stripped Grace down and put her the sink to get all the sticky medicine off. And let me tell you, baby medicine is really sticky!
So now Grace is fast asleep in her crib, and thinking back on what happened really gives me a good laugh. As for my phone, it seems to still be working all right. I just have to talk really loud into the phone for anyone to hear me, but I talk loud anyways, so it shouldn't be a problem, right!?

Talk About A Big Tire
I didn't grow up on a farm, so maybe it's just me. But this tire is HUGE!!! Mark was helping a family move over the weekend and they were nice enough to give him one of their old tractor tires. Mark was so excited, he's been wanting one for a while to use while working out. (If you've ever seen world strongest man competions, you know what I mean). He goes out in our backyard everday and either pounds the heck out of it with a sledge hammer, or flips it over and over. And let me tell you, it is heavy! I couldn 't even get it off the ground. So of course we had to stick Grace on it because she just looked so small standing on it. You'll notice it made her feet very black, but she loved it!

Our Little Clapping Speed Racer
Grace has two new tricks; Speeding across the kitchen floor in her walker. And clapping her hands together every time we say "clap". This video really doesn't do her justice because she always gets distracted when the camera is on. But in real life, (without the camera on) she goes crazy clapping! It's the cutest thing you'll ever see! It's so crazy how much she is learning, and that she actually understands what the word, clap means and does it. We have a little smartie pants on our hands!

Am I The Only One?
Ok, I may be a little obsessed with American Idol this year. It's the first season that I haven't been working on one of the nights its on. So therefore, I'm a addicted.
First, it was Tatiana. Oh gosh, I can't even say her name without getting annoyed. Then she was kicked off, (for the second time), and I thought I liked everyone else. That was until last night when Adam sang, "Ring Of Fire". I was completely creeped out! Am I the only one to think that? It was the strangest thing Ive ever seen. I hope I get to say see ya to him tonight!

Feeling Blessed
I have been feeling very blessed lately. I don't know how I got so lucky to have Mark and Grace. They are my world and they mean everything to me. Mark is such a wonderful Dada and husband. He works SO hard for our family, and always has a smile on his face. I know without a doubt that we were meant for each other. I know Heavenly Father had such a big hand in having us meet the way we did. I still get chills thinking about it. if you don't know the story, I'll tell you later!
Grace is just an absolute doll. She has to be one of the happiest babies ever. She is always laughing, and we have so much fun together everyday. I just love watching her, especially when we go out somewhere I spend more time looking at her then what I should be shopping for. She just cracks me up with all her facial expressions. She loves it when Mark gets home, her little face just lights up. It's so cute to see the two of them play together, she already has Mark wrapped around her little finger.
I just really can't believe how truly blessed I am. I thank God everyday for bringing me these two amazing people.
These pics are just a few I've taken over the last eight months since grace was born.
