A Funny Little Habit

These pictures uploaded in the wrong order, so scroll down first. For probably the last couple of months Grace has picked up a new little habit that helps her fall asleep for her nap time. She has a little blanket she sleeps with called her, "silky". She loves it! Well, everyday after I put her down for her nap I'll usually go in 10 or 15 min. later to see if she's fallen asleep yet and everyday I see her sitting in her crib with her silky on her head and she's just staring off in space. I always laugh so hard when I see her do this, I can't help it, it's so strange. But I know when she has her silky on her head it means she's about to conk over and fall asleep. It's the thing she always does right before she falls asleep. I tried to sneak up on her and take a picture but she caught me. I love this girl!
Now if you look closely at our headboard in the background you'll notice a a hole in it. That would be from Grace's tooth hitting it. Yep, she was jumping on the bed the other night and I was blocking one side and Mark was blocking the other side making sure she wouldn't jump right off the bed. Well, neither of us thought she would jump face first right into the head board. Her little face smashed so hard against it her tooth took a big chunk back out with her. Her lip was bleeding like crazy. I felt so bad! I thought for sure she would have a black tooth but so far so good. We gave her ice cream after so she would feel better and now she asks me for more everyday, bad idea!

We will be having a new addition join our family this summer. Yep, I'm PREGNANT!!! I'm just about 13 weeks pregnant and due July 25th. We could not be happier! Grace doesn't have a clue whats coming. Every time I point to my tummy and say, "baby" she points to her tummy and says, "baby", ha ha! Now we can't wait to find out what we're having. We'll keep you posted....

The Petting Zoo

A few weeks ago we took Grace to Thanksgiving Point to check out the petting zoo. She loved it! She is a brave little girl. She went right up to all the animals and touched them with no hesitation. My favorite was seeing her ride the pony. She looked like such a big girl. Every time she would come back around and see me she would get this big grin on her face like, "look what I could do mom". Aawww, my little girl is growing up! Then before we left Mark wanted to buy her this little stuffed animal pony, no big deal. Neither of us realized she would have to have it every where she goes. Even last night during her bath time the horsie had to sit right on the edge of the tub or Grace would freak out. I'm just glad it didn't fall in! Ha! She's giving her pony kisses below....

Snow White's Cranky Halloween

Grace was Snow White for halloween this year. I had to wake her up to go to our trunk or treat and she was NOT HAPPY! She was SO cranky until we finally got there and she started collecting candy, and she instantly pepped up! As you can tell she loves her candy! She went with her friends, Trey and Opal. They were all so cute. Yeah, I don't know why eveything I wrote is underlined. Ha!

We're Moving On

This past Sunday Mark got released from the single's ward bishopric. Whahoo! I can be excited, right!? We have had a great time being in the singles ward. We learned a lot, and I could see Mark growing in so many ways. We will really will miss it. But it's just about time for nursery and for married people.

Where Have I Been?

Wow, it's been a while since I posted! We have been pretty busy these last few weeks. We had my brother, Josh and his wife, Sarah come stay with us at the end of September. We had so much fun with them. But of course I forgot to take any pictures of their trip here, whoops!
Then we had a nice little surprise...our water heater broke and slowly leaked all over kitchen, only we didn't know until about the 2nd or 3rd day when we noticed that water was seeping up on the floor every time we took a step! Yeah, it was bad! So we had to rip out all of our kitchen floor and get a new water heater. Luckily, we had insurance and they paid for everything, I think we even came out a few hundred dollars ahead, and ended up getting a little nicer quality floors then we had before, not bad, huh. Get insurance, it's worth it!
Then Mark's parents and little brother came to stay with us to send off their last child on a mission. And of course, I didn't take any pictures. What is wrong with me?! Although my mother in law took a bunch so I'll have to take some from her. It was so much fun having so much family here!
Now it's back to just the 3 of us. Here are a few pics I took of Grace today...and I'll work on getting more pictures up soon.
