This Is What We Do During Church

You can find Grace and I in the halls A LOT these days! And it's not because she's being bad or cranky, it's because.... we're in a SINGLES WARD! For those of you who don't know, Mark got called to be in a bishopric of a singles ward back in August. And the bishop of that ward wanted me to attend too. I think you all remember how deathly silent singles wards are. Especially during sacrament. So needless to say Grace only lasts about twenty min (if we're lucky) before she gets hiccups or gets too excited and decides to make all of her really happy but loud noises! And I can feel every eye in there on me! So the majority of our time at church is spent roaming the halls or playing with toys in the floor. Don't get me wrong, I love this ward. The people in it are so friendly and fun. They've even made Grace the little ward baby. Ha ha! But I still can't wait to be in a family ward and have Grace blend in with all the other loud babies too!

  3. I understand about the hallways. I can't wait until Gabe can go to nursery and we can go back to attending class. Enjoy it though...Grace is such a cutie! Also, I think three of my good friends are in your ward...Krissie Ostlund, Lizzie Jones and Melissa Moorhead. And that church building is about two blocks from our new house.

  4. Oh, Grace!! I wish we could enjoy all your noises at church. Talk about getting ALL the attention though...she might as well eat it up while she can! We love you guys. :)

  5. Don't worry, cause guess what?? In a few years all those single "kids" will have kids of their own and they will totally understand!! I used to be embarassed about things Camri did, but now I just let her be a kid. Cause I figure either the people around me have kids and understand, or will have kids someday. :) But I know what you mean about the dead silence!! It was that way in Iraq too! Haha, no kids there! :) Miss you! Lets get together soon! Love your guts!
